Ingredients:
- 1 bone-in pork rib roast about 4-5 pounds
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
Season the pork rib roast with salt and black pepper, ensuring it is well-coated
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper if using
Brush the barbecue sauce mixture over the entire surface of the pork rib roast, ensuring an even coating
Place the seasoned pork rib roast on a roasting pan with the bone side down
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1
5 to 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 145F 63C
Baste the roast with the barbecue sauce every 30 minutes
Once cooked, let the pork rest for 10-15 minutes before carving
Carve the pork into slices and serve with additional Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauce on the side
