Chai Spiced Quick Bread

This quick bread is delicious and doesnt need any oil, gluten, or dairy. It has the warm flavors of chai spices added to it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

Either grease or line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper

Gluten-free flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, and salt should all be mixed together in a large bowl

Blend the apple sauce, apple cider vinegar, vanilla extract, and almond milk together in a different bowl

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed

If you want to, fold in the chopped nuts

As soon as the loaf pan is ready, pour the batter into it and use a spatula to smooth the top

After the oven is hot, bake it for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

After 10 minutes of cooling in the pan, move the bread to a wire rack to finish cooling before cutting
