Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments for toppings
Instructions:
Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble into small pieces
Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and flatten them into thin patties
Place a slice of cheddar cheese and a portion of crumbled bacon on 4 of the patties
Top with the remaining 4 patties and seal the edges to create stuffed burger patties
Season the outside of the burgers with salt and pepper
Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat
Grill the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two until they are lightly browned
Assemble your burgers by placing lettuce, tomato, onion, and your choice of condiments on the bottom bun, then top with the stuffed burger patty, and finally, the top bun
Serve hot and enjoy your Inside Out Bacon Burger
