Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Piave cheese
- 1/2 cup diced grilled pineapple
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into the shape you want
Add salt and black pepper to the pizza dough after brushing it with olive oil
Place the pizza dough carefully on the hot grill grates
Cook for two to three minutes on each side, or until it has grill marks and is a little crispy
Once the pizza dough is done, take it off the grill and spread all over with pizza sauce
After adding the grilled pineapple dices and prosciutto slices, sprinkle the shredded Piave cheese on top of the sauce
Put the pizza back on the grill and close the lid
Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the crust is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbling
Take the pizza off the grill and give it a minute or two to cool down
Add red pepper flakes and fresh basil leaves on top
Cut it up and serve it hot
